Sunset Journey into Yin Yoga Guided Yoga Nidra/Savasana
A mindfulness practice that fosters awareness, self exploration, mind-body connection, intuition development, breath-work etc. Experience step-by-step meditation guidance to meet your body, mind, and emotions with curiosity, skill, and gentleness. Explore yin yoga postures that relax and energize your body, detox trauma in the joints, ligaments, connective tissue, fascia, find greater range of motion/flexibility, reduce cortisol built up, increase hydration, and clear out lifetimes of suppressed emotion. Following is a guided Yoga Nidra to invoke a state of consciousness between waking and sleeping, like the "going-to-sleep" stage. It is a state in which the body is completely relaxed. This state of consciousness (yoga nidra) is different to meditation in which concentration on a single focus is required. Yoga Nidra brings an incredible calmness, quietness and clarity. Yoga Nidra is one of the deepest of all meditations, leading awareness through many levels of mental process to a state of supreme stillness and insight. Our food intake plays a huge role on the harmony of our systems, moods, appearance, energy levels and the ability for the body and all it's systems to function at their optimal level. Learn how to release cravings and unhealthy eating habits, how to mindfully prep and eat what energetically serves the body at it's highest vibration. We are eating to live, not living to eat but it can still be tasty and delicious. Closing ceremony as we gather to seal in and savour the heighten vibratrions cultivated from the retreat.
